Tips fo Ketosis Diet Plan Ketosis Diet Plan The ketosis diet plan is often referred to as the ketogenic diet or just plainly a very low-carb diet. Ketosis is the name of a biochemical phenomenon that happens during extreme carbohydrate restriction or prolonged starvation. The term ketosis is not to be confused with ketoacidosis, which is what eventually happens to diabetics if their insulin beomes too low and their blood sugar goes completely out of whack. This is very dangerous, but it is something that only happens to diabetics (mainly type I), and there is absolutely no risk whatsoever of this happening with a ketogenic diet.

Director of the ECU Health & Wellness Institute at Edith Cowan University discusses Exercise Oncology Research his team are conducting. The suppression of testosterone, which is a side-effect of prostate cancer treatments, causes a number of complications: cardio-vascular complications, metabolic complications and muscular-skeletal complications. Galvao’s team have found exercise to be beneficial in minimising those side-effects. Additionally, exercise can reverse those side-effects – resistance training, counteracts loss of muscle. A current long-term study by the team is looking at different types of exercise and outcomes.
