Came here for Paul
Estoy aquí por Paul <3
Ethereal, ephemeral and ascending into greater light.
Solamente estoy aquí por Paul. ❤
I am holding half an acreTorn from the map of MichiganAnd folded in this scrap of paperIs a land I grew inThink of every town you've lived inEvery room, you lay your headAnd what is it that you remember?Do you carry every sadness with youEvery hour your heart was brokenEvery night the fear and darknessLay down with youA man is walking on the highwayA woman stares out at the seaAnd light is only now just breakingSo we carry every sadness with usEvery hour our heart were brokenEvery night the fear and darknessLay down with usBut I am holding half an acreTorn from the map of MichiganI am carrying this scrap of paperThat can crack the darkest sky wide openEvery burden taken from meEvery night my heart unfoldingMy home
A perfect gem of a song. Somewhere, Aaron Copland is looking down and smiling.
Julianne, minha eterna coelhinha. ❤
One of the best songs that never charted.
being a rabbit must be peaceful sometimes 🙂

Deer god… This is fucking gnarly… I mean it's great~
Vim ouvir por causa de Júlia. Do livro inferno de Gabriel.
Perfection is rare in music. It is here in this song though.
When I was a high school exchange student in Japan, I came down with a bad case of homesickness…which was greatly relieved when somebody brought out a map of my hometown (Los Angeles). Somehow, just seeing the map grounded me again…which is what I remember when I sing this song
Beautiful song. Insert Montana for Michigan for me– home.
