Protein powder makes it much easier to intake higher levels of protein. Pre-workout keeps you going to get in more reps and stay on a cardio machine. Supplements definitely help. 🙌

I took a break from weight loss videos and I’m back in the gym and seriously watching your videos while I’m on the cardio machines helps me get through the sore spots. You’re knowledgeable, reliable and funny but most importantly inspiring. Thank you for the time and effort you put into the quality of your videos. 🙌🏽❤️

I have lost 21 lbs in 10 weeks and I use protein powder only on the days I hit the weights hard which is 1 to 2 days a week(Fullbody), and after every Hiit workout 1 to 2 days a week. My rest days and my strictly cardio days I rarely will use protein powder unless it's close to bed time and I'm a little hungry, I will throw 1 scoop in water. Usually on the days I hit the weights hard I will use a pre-workout since I do core and a full body workout sometimes followed by 30 minutes of steady state cardio on the treadmill, all that can last up to 2 hrs. I take a multivitamin everyday and extra vitamin C. So although Protein powder and pre workouts aren't necessary everyday, I do think for most people who lift weights it is necessary sometimes to maximize your workouts.

  17. Matt Walls says:

Save your money folks… Eat your veggies, monitor your calorie intake based from your BMI… I feel like they make me feel better, classic placebo effect. The studies, published in the Dec. 17 issue of the journal Annals of Internal Medicine, found that multivitamin and mineral supplements did not work any better than placebo pills.
Dietary supplements are a multibillion-dollar industry in the United States, and multivitamins account for nearly half of all vitamin sales, according to the U.S. Office of Dietary Supplements.

But a growing body of evidence suggests that multivitamins offer little or nothing in the way of health benefits, and some studies suggest that high doses of certain vitamins might cause harm.
