Topic of discussion: What is your favorite meal of the day?

Here are some healthy and easy meal ideas if you’re trying to stay lean! I’ve been eating light lately and there is nothing better. Some of the recipes in this video are also vegan, and super healthy if you’re trying to lose weight. Not only that, but I made sure to show you easy meals so you won’t have a hard time making any of these easy healthy and lean meals!

Here is what I eat in a day or what I ate today:

Smoothie:
4 Strawberries
1 Banana
1 Tblsp of Oatmeal
Frozen berries
Whey Protein

Lunch:
Hollywood Bowl Salad at Sweet Greens

Dinner:
1 Filet of Tilapia
1 Baked potato
Green beans
Jasmine Rice

Phase 1 Overview & Workout | #FREAKMODE Alex Savva’s 12-Week Fitness Plan

In Phase 1 of the FreakMode trainer, we’ll be doing workouts that will increase your size and strength.

This phase is designed to help stimulate growth by attacking body parts as a group based on prime movers and their synergists. For example, the chest is a prime mover (main muscle) on a bench press, while the shoulders and triceps are synergists (assisting muscles).

Grouping prime movers and their synergists in workouts will provide maximum tissue breakdown

Because the synergist muscles are targeted during every exercise prescribed in each workout, they’ll be close to exhaustion by the time you work them individually. That means you’ll only need to do a few sets to finish them off. Just think about how your triceps will feel after all those presses in today’s workout!

By the end of the week, you’ll have thoroughly hit each muscle group!

In Phase 1, the first exercise of each workout is a compound movement that will hit the prime mover and each synergist. On this movement, I want you to go hard and heavy. Choose loads that are about 70-80 percent of your 1RM.

The workouts this week shouldn’t take you more than 30-45 minutes. Keep the rest periods short so the workouts are intense and effective. By increasing the demand of the work, you effectively increase the stress to your body, which is exactly what will cause your muscles to grow and your fat to evaporate.

The number one downfall for anyone who isn’t achieving their fitness goals is nutrition. It doesn’t matter how hard you train in the gym. If your nutrition plan isn’t on par with that, you’re not going to get the best results.

A lot of people respond to that truth by turning everything into a math problem, or choking down meal after meal of food they can’t stand. Not me. I won’t force myself to eat foods that just help me get ripped or shed pounds. I have to enjoy eating them, too.

There are tons of foods out there you can work with to achieve your goal of fat loss or muscle gain. So there is no reason for you to just get stuck on the same boring dishes over and over again.

The FreakMode nutrition plan has worked for me for 10 years. Not weeks-years. To make that work, I’ve had to keep everything simple and consistent.
