12 Best Foods for Men’s Health

Bones may be sturdy enough to transport us all day every day, but they are vulnerable to losing their strength if neglected.

In today’s video, we’ll take a closer look at 12 foods that can strength your bones and put that spring back into a man’s step.

1. Eggs
Scrambled or boiled, eggs can provide you with a bountiful supply of Vitamin D. This vitamin plays a key role in how well a man can sustain a normal level of testosterone in his blood. It’s recommend that you eat one egg per day, but those who have trouble with cholesterol should skip the yoke.

2. Garlic
With its powerful anti-fungal, antiviral and antibacterial properties, this anti-aging superfood can help you fight off illness and infections. Just add it to any of your favorite foods for a flavor boost.

3. Honey
Instead of reaching for sugar, choose a small spoonful of honey as a substitute. Add it to your tea, oatmeal or pancakes. Honey’s antioxidants can strengthen your immune system and help you win the battle when infections strike.

4. Watermelon
A juicy watermelon is a great summer treat, but it can also improve blood circulation and your entire circulatory system. Eat it as a snack, add to salad or whip up a sorbet.

5. Cauliflower
Adding a small amount of cauliflower to your daily diet can reduce estrogen while boosting testosterone.

6. Grapes
By eating a handful of grapes a day, a man’s testosterone levels will rise, and sperm activity will also increase. Additionally, the nutrients in grapes can slow down the aging process.

7. Oysters
Oysters are little vaults stuffed full of vitamins and minerals that enhance your heart’s health and boost your immune system. Just sprinkle a little lemon juice and salt to preserve their nutrients.

8. Meat
Too much meat isn’t beneficial for your health, but it does play a significant role in increasing testosterone levels. Just be sure to eat meat that’s organic and has come from a grass-fed source.

9. Beans
Beans can be added to most any side dishes, soups or salads. These heart-healthy foods also help men maintain normal testosterone levels.

10. Tuna
Vitamin D-rich tuna is good for your heart, but just remember to buy tuna that has not been exposed to mercury.

11. Pomegranates
Pomegranate juice is an excellent source of potent antioxidants, which can tackle free radicals before they can disrupt circulatory functions. Also, the International Journal of Impotence Research states that nearly 50% impotent men noticed their condition improved after drinking only one glass of pomegranate juice.

12. Cabbage
Men who eat cabbage ingest the chemical – indole-3-carbinol or IC3, which eliminates female hormones. A Rockefeller University study noted that men who consumed 500mg daily for 7 days saw their estrogen levels cut in half.

Best Fat Burning Workout (HOW I STAY LEAN!)

Burn fat faster than ever – http://athleanx.com/inferno
Subscribe to this channel here – http://bit.ly/2b0coMW

The best fat burning workout is one in which you aren’t simply doing low intensity cardio, but are incorporating weight training as well. The simple fact is, long term fat loss is going to depend on your ability to build as much lean muscle tissue as possible. Metabolically, this muscle tissue is going to increase your resting caloric burn much more than the body fat that exists at this moment.

In this video, I show you a simple dumbbell complex that can be done with a barbell if you have access to a full gym or a more advanced home gym. The bottom line is, this sequence of four dumbbell exercises will get your heart rate soaring and your muscles working in very short order. Perform just 6 rounds this with little to no rest between exercises in the complex and a max of 90 seconds after each round.

Your goal is to perform your complex training workouts at least once a week if not more. The key to successful complexes however is to not back load the complexes with exercises that are using relatively heavy weights or that demand high levels of technical skill. Most trainers that program complexes make these mistakes and also don’t take into account the accumulating fatigue.

In order to combat the fatigue to maintain good form and the integrity of the exercise, you will want to perform this complex with a descending rep sequence. In other words, you will start off by performing 6 reps in the first round, 5 reps in the second round, 4 reps in the third, and so on and so forth until all rounds are done and you are doing just 1rep of each exercise in the last.

Determine the weight you are going to use by choosing your 12RM for your dumbbell overhead shoulder press. Keep the same weight for all of the other exercises in this complex. Again, this is done so that while the weight may be on the light side for the exercises you are performing, it will not jeopardize your body or risk injury when performing them in a fatigued state.

The key above all else is to not rest between movements. Simply transition from one exercise in the complex to the next and try not to rest the dumbbells at all when moving from one to the next. While the first round might not feel like much of a struggle, the subsequent rounds will quickly add up and make you feel as if your fat burning has just kicked into third gear!

Best NUTRITION Advice (Beginner’s Guide to The Gym)

NUTRITION | Beginner’s Tips:

Chew your Food Slow:
Sounds obvious I know, but just remember it’s better for a couple reasons, like digestion; your saliva will start “pre-digesting” your food before it even hits the stomach, just think of it as Jeff Goldblum as “Brundlefly” in the Fly…except you aren’t vomiting up green goo all over a doughnut if front of your girl Veronica you later find out you impregnated and then kidnap her to make sure she carries your baby because it’s the last remnant of your humanity…seriously go watch the Fly. Eating slow also lets your stomach send signals to the brain to let it know you’re full, through releasing a hormone called Leptin. It could take up to 15 – 20 minutes to feel the full effect of being full. So take your time dammit! Just try to savor every bite, like its your last.

Know your Macros:
Calories are calories, right? WRONG! There are certain metabolic effects caused by different calories and these calories come from different sources called, Macronutrients. There are 3 primary macros: Fats, Carbs and Protein. Fats = 9 calories per 1 gram which makes it the most energy dense of the macros but they also provide many other benefits such as, reducing bad cholesterol, protecting against cardiovascular disease and even helping lose weight. Carbs and Proteins = 4 calories per 1 gram. Let’s talk protein – these dudes are comprised of amino acids and are mostly known for building muscle, but also help in many other avenues like helping create enzymes and hormones. Oh, and protein also will help you feel more satiated – which is a fancy word meaning full. Carbs are not only the main energy source for the body but also provide energy for the brain. But watch those sugary carbs because your blood sugar levels can spike and your body will release insulin, making it easier to store fat and possibly cause diabetes by becoming insulin resistant. Okay enough doom and gloom – just make sure you eat whole healthy foods and remember, you are what you eat.

Portion Size:
Make a fist…now punch yourself, because you’ve likely been ignoring portion control. Ya know that fist that just punched you? That’s about the size of your stomach and it might be able to stretch a bit, but you need to be aware of how much you’re stretching that bad boy. Are you stretching it to just the right amount like, the hot girl in your gym stretching in her yoga pants, or are your stretching it like a douche bro with ILS wearing a shirt 3 sizes too small to look bigger? Point is, be aware of how much food you’re eating. Usually dinner plates are large and it’s easy to try and fill them with food and eat it all. So, buy smaller plates, use your hand as a measuring tool and you can thank us later.

Why are you eating:
It might sound like a funny question, and you might answer it with “because i get hungry” or “to survive” and those are valid answers, but when you sit down and make a goal of a more specific reason why you’re eating I.E. Im eating to lose weight or gain muscle or build strength, you’ll be forced to figure out the amounts of total calories you require, and have the need to find out macro percentages that work best to your goal, and in the process learn what your body responds best to.

Keep it simple:
It’s easy to want to jump on the most popular nutritional dieting trends, paleo, anal digestion, intermittent fasting, IIFYM, but before you go that route, try to get into a healthy habit and routine of eating whole healthy foods, training your self discipline and understanding what different foods do and how they affect you. Now we’re not saying never to try anything new, but maybe wait till you understand this whole nutrition thing a little more first.

Meal Prep: Do it.

What to Eat Pre-Workout for Muscle Gain (Best Pre Workout Meal)

What to Eat Pre-Workout for Muscle Gain (Best Pre Workout Meal)

If you’re looking to maximize protein synthesis and enhance muscle recovery, then you need to be considering what you eat before the gym (pre workout meal). Recent research showing that a pre workout meal consisting of adequate protein and carbs leads to better muscle protein synthesis and strength gains, and researchers are starting to consider pre workout nutrition as being even more important than post workout nutrition when it comes to building muscle. Now keep in mind that the pre workout meal for “bodybuilders” or those lifting weights will differ dramatically from endurance exercise athletes. In our case, we are mostly concerned with getting in high quality fast digesting leucine-containing pre workout protein, as well as moderate-high glycemic index pre workout carbs with minimal fibre in order to boost performance and create an anabolic environment to further boost muscle gains.

In this video I’ll go through the best pre workout meal based on several studies, and provide you guys with some other options for pre workout meals that you can use to help get more bang for your buck in every workout.

As always, if you enjoyed this video then please don’t forget to give the video a like, leave a comment, and share the video! Thanks for watching!
