14 Ways to Improve Memory and Brain Health – Saturday Strategy

When it comes to taking care of yourself, far too often the health of this very important organ gets left behind, which is really a bummer considering the important role it plays in our day-to-day life and overall health!

I hear it all the time – “my memory is getting so much worse the older I get!” – and I’ve got news for you, my friend… it doesn’t have to be that way!!! (seriously)

Do you remember a time when you were quicker, or a little bit more “witty?” A time when you remembered people’s names, important facts and vivid, joyful memories without hesitation? Ask yourself this:

Do you ever feel brain “fog?”
Do you forget people’s names more frequently?
Do you ask people to repeat themselves or re-explain more often?
Do you feel less “sharp” in the afternoon?
Do you feel less focused than when you were younger?

If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, this video and blog post can help you!

Fun Facts about your incredible BRAIN

it weighs about 3 pounds (adult)
it is about 2% of your total body weight
it has about 100 billion neurons
unconsciousness will occur approx. 8-10 seconds after blood supply to the brain
neurons multiply at a rate of 250,000 neurons/minute during early pregnancy
it grows and develops up until 25 years of age and then starts to decline

The good news is that we can improve and heal our brains with the right diet and lifestyle choices.

Remember, we’re in this together.
