  1. The problem is NOT everybody got fat due to lifestyle issues of overeating and lack of exercises. I for example put on lots of weight in a short period of time out of sleep deprivation and stress. I was never fat before that. My previous lifestyle could only help me to maintain my weight and if this weight is already overweight – my previous lifestyle could only keep me at this overweight level.

In order to get back to normal, I have to make deliberate efforts with lots of pains to shed the weight off. But I feel like the entire world has been against me which has made my weight loss a rather painful journey.

But still, the concept of aiming at healthy eating still is good because even if I am at the same weight, I can have different health levels due to the different things I eat. I have corrected some of my previous eating habits despite I was eating that without getting fat purely due to nutritional considerations and I learnt those nutrition tips as a side effect of my weight loss – and increased exercises as a side effect too despite that I could manage to stay thin without any exercise in the past – not too bad.

  2. Dr Evans – Have you read the China Study and Dr Douglas Grahams 80-10-10 Diet. Pretty Sure they could school you on a few of your points. I am sorry but "The best Diet is a Diet you can stick too" is BS. Nice Cartoon thought!

  3. The problem is that veggies and fruits are really expansive. If I try to eat healthy for a month I won't be able to pay my rent anymore. Currently I live off of instant noodles, pasta-based meals and fries because those things are the cheapest by far. It's not helping my weight, but it's healthier than not eating at all for 2 weeks a month.

  4. Good advice! Little tweaks are the easiest. Good anecdotal and clinical evidence to support your advice. The personal addition at the end is great!.

  5. 6:36 Thank you for mentioning the environmental benefits of plant-based diet.

I think it's always important to consider the impact that our food choices have on not only the environment, but also other people (i.e. poor working conditions for farmers, slave labor, etc.).

Keep up the great work with these videos!

  6. Love this! it has taken me 31 years to learn this about myself. Healthy eating and not "dieting" and self love. This video would be great to show to kids in school. 😆😆
